New Year's Screensaver is a nice screensaver that includes three images related to the New Year's holiday. Among the images you will find a golden bonnet for your head, glasses with champagne for the toast, and fireworks. The images are nice, but not impressive. Besides, the screensaver doesn't include music or sounds, and neither can you add your own, which makes it a bit boring. The images can be shown randomly or in order, and with a different transition effect, which you can customize from the settings menu.
From this menu, you will be able to customize the images size (shrank to fit the screen or enlarged to fill it), add an edge effect, and adjust the image display time. Even though the menu includes the options "Captions" and "Copyrights", these are not available for this screensaver and nothing will happen if you check their corresponding boxes.
In short, New Year's Screensaver is a simple screensaver, which certainly doesn't have much to offer, and I'm sure you can get much better screensavers with this theme.
